For the Adults: You want activities, let’s start with those that are free and plentiful. There are numerous trails and hiking paths throughout the Catskills. From beginners, to the most experienced. There are trails that will take your breath away. Also available are the trail guides (fee based) to help you make your way around should you want the company, or peace of mind. The Catskill’s have the famous 16 peaks that some serious hikers just have to complete.
Away from the daily routines...: Nestled at the base of Mt. Tremper, surrounded by great oaks, towering evergreens and colorful maples this 100 acres privately owned estate cradles you with old world charm and craftsmanship rarely found and fostered by it’s current owner. Relax on its long extended deck with stone fireplace and BBQ grill. Phoenicia, just minutes away host many restaurants, art galleries and antique shops. Need more shopping opportunities, Woodstock just 15 minutes in the opposite direction offers a greater concentration of shops to suit the most sophisticated of shoppers this side of the Catskills. Our homes feature 32” flat screen LCD TV’s cable fed, DVD, video play back systems indoor stone wood burning fireplace, laundry area and air conditioning in each of the bedrooms. Lets not forget those that just want the peace and quiet of our immediate surrounding Bring your present favorite book or read one of ours. Curl up in front of a fireplace or read on the deck.
For the Kids: For the kids there are the world’s largest kaleidoscope, horseback riding or riding the rails, tubing the Esopus. For those who need much more adventure there’s canoeing and kayaking and mountain climbing and let’s not forget our famous ski resorts also just minutes away.
Ski: Our famous ski resorts also just minutes away. Hunter and Belleayre, just to name a couple. Whether its downhill skiing or snowboard, cross-country or snowmobiling.
