If you are not within walking distance of the Convention Center and the Plaza Caracol, you are not in the Hotel Zone. Cancun has such a wealth of resort, cultural, and entertainment opportunities. Snorkeling, diving, beachcombing, tours of Mayan pyramids, shopping, nightclubs, and discos are all nearby. Or you can just relax in the sun. Reviewing tour books available from your library, or renting travel videos ("Cancun" and "Yucatan Archaeological" are good choices) will help you decide on your preferred activities. The Salvia allows you to enjoy a spacious oceanfront two-room apartment (that can also be rented as a studio) with a kitchenette and private patio, at the same cost or less than a hotel room in Cancun's Hotel Zone.

The Salvia is a high-rise, full-service condohotel with daily maid service, tour and car rental agents, a palapa bar/restaurant in the pool area for refreshments and light meals, tennis courts, free parking, and a full-service front desk with phone/fax and 24-hour security. Airport transfers can be arranged through our tour desk (via e-mail) for a nominal fee. It is our intent to provide the Salvia's finest room at the lowest cost to our patrons. The studio format accommodation is similar to that of a hotel unit -- sleeping up to four with an oceanside patio and kitchenette. Configuration as a double adds a second bedroom with bath, sleeping up to eight -- with a lagoon-side patio. Our condominium is individually owned (it's not a timeshare). Amenities include satellite TV, phones, a microwave, cooking facilities, and a refrigerator, among other things. The Salvia will help ease the only two problems you could possibly experience on Cancun.
