This architect-built, two-bedroom/two-bath home is located just a short walk from the main square of San Miguel de Allende, one of Mexico's most charming cities with a rich colonial history. The square (Jardin) is the center of town where you can sit and watch the world go by, hear the mariachis on weekend evenings, and immerse yourself in local atmosphere. The town is a shopper's paradise and provides a vast choice of wonderful restaurants in every price range and to suit all tastes. You could also spend days in the many art galleries or attend one of the many language schools to brush up your Spanish. Our house is built on three terraced lots. It has a large indoor/outdoor living room and glassed-in dining room overlooking a garden which is partially shaded by old mesquite and pepper trees. From the terrace, which features a beautiful fountain, you can watch the sun set over the city. The formal indoor living room and master suite have fireplaces.
