- Each bedroom is comfortably set up with bed, dresser, and hooks or hangers. Two of the bedrooms are pine paneled and the other two are painted. Bedside lights and small tables are situated near each bed. Each bedroom receives sunlight at various times of the day. Three bedrooms are available for renters. One bedroom has twin beds, but if a double bed is requested in place of twin beds, we can accommodate that request by changing available bedrooms.

The Cottage: Our summer cottage is relaxing, convenient and comfortable. The first floor features an open living plan allowing easy movement from kitchen to dining area to the living room. The first floor bathroom is off the living room and also accessible from the downstairs bedroom. The upstairs is simple yet efficient. The bedrooms open right off the hall with the bathroom at the end. Windows abound allowing light and breezes to move through. The cottage furnishings are unfussy to meet the demands of summer vacations.
McFarland's Cove: McFarland's Cove is a small community of family and friends who have been coming to the area for generations. The same families have owned summer camps and cottages in the cove since the 1940s. Cove residents go out of their way to extend a warm and friendly welcome to newcomers. The front cove looks out on Witch Island, an uninhabited spot owned by Maine Audubon. It makes a perfect destination for a boat ride. Pack a picnic and set out to the island for an easy hike and some bird watching. Beyond Witch Island is John's Bay emptying into the Atlantic.
