Playa Ocotal has a quiet sandy beach. It is the cleanest and quietest beach in the area. The area is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, birdwatching, golfing and many other outdoor activities. If you enjoy the nightlife, a short distance away is Coco Beach with its bars, restaurants and lively Costa Rican atmospere. You can also use Playa Ocotal as your homebase while you visit Tamarindo, Limon, San Jose and Arenal.
