Golf details: Humber Valley Resort’s River Course, voted “Canada’s Best New Course 2007” by SCOREGolf Magazine, is an 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course measuring 7,199 yards. The course, which affords dramatic views over Humber Valley, including Deer Lake and the Humber River, was designed by distinguished Canadian golf course architect Doug Carrick, who is known for creating courses of great character and beauty. Snowboarding:There is no shortage of rails and trails at Marble Mountain, where all slopes are open to snowboarders. Marble Mountain has the largest terrain park and half pipe in Atlantic Canada.
