Established in 1994: Parkside has welcomed guests in all seasons of the year. Its distinctive hospitality is based upon - your room away from home… for travelers to the Cambridge and Boston area. One guest put it, “just like home, but better” another puts it, “the comforts of home… the privacy of a hotel” and still another, “European ambiance and Yankee hospitality.” However it is experienced, Parkside allows guests to visit, work or vacate in a special way.
The Parkside on Ellery house: was erected in 1865, during the post Civil War era. Antiques, decorations, and furniture from the 19th, 20th, and 21st Centuries offer accommodation choices. Three unique suites all feature private entrances, private baths, comfortable sleeping and interesting décor.
Upon the arrival of guests: a few minutes of time are taken to make the guests familiar with their “room away from home” as well as the immediate Harvard Square area. If an additional interest is mentioned, we help to find an answer. Continental breakfast in the room allows guests to casually gather their thoughts, plan their day or watch the morning news while having a cup of our excellent coffee.
