- the bathrooms have all been updated in simple, cottage style. Three of the four have hard wood floors. Three of the four have original clawfoot tubs that have recently been refinished (June 2012). The two indoor separate showers are tile with glass doors. The First floor bath has an antique-style shower enclosure over the clawfoot tub, with new period-style fixtures. The outdoor shower is a joy. It is private, with a changing space inside a wood enclosure. The walls are high enough for privacy, but there is plenty of view of the sky. The shower is located at the end of the back porch- easy to get to from the house, but quiet for privacy. We built the shower in June of 2012- there has been constant demand for it since it was put in! Also a hot shower without an enclosure outside on the other side of the house to clean off after coming from the beach in your bathing suit.
