Dine in the flower filled courtyard under the stars with the scent of jasmine, in the peace and quiet of the French countryside in a hamlet that has existed since 900 and retains the charm and character of old Provence. You will be enjoying the nature preserve for walks, bike rides, canoeing, ballooning, antiquing, browsing in galleries, theater or even opera at the famous festival in Orange. In the peaceful mornings you can take a 7 minute scenic walk up the hill to the perched medieval village of Joucas for your fresh bread and croissants, or drive no more than 10 minutes to Gordes, Roussillon, and Goult which are all picturesque villages and each with a different allure. La Cerisaie means cherry orchard, and ours is where the swimming pool is nestled among jasmine, lavender, roses, and oleander. Lunch under the shade of a cherry tree at the stone table and snooze in the shade to the song of the birds and the cicadas.
