Our home is perched high on a hillside just south of the town of Fish Camp. Here you will find a unique combination of privacy, unmatched views of the surrounding mountains and a convenient location close to all of the area's attractions. Yosemite National Park and the Mariposa Grove of giant Sequoias are just 10 minutes north. In the winter you can play in the snow just north of Fish Camp, or drive up to Badger Pass for snow-shoeing, tubing, and your choice of either cross-country or downhill skiing. In summer you can enjoy horseback riding just outside of Fish Camp as well as swimming and excellent fishing in nearby Big Creek. The refreshing beauty of Corlieu Falls is only 10 minutes south of our home. Water sports at Bass Lake and shopping in Oakhurst are only 20 minutes away. You can even find fine dining at the Narrow Gauge Inn and an authentic steam locomotive ride at the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad right across the road from us!

Refreshing Mountain Climate: Our unique home overlooks the upper reaches of the Lewis Creek watershed at an elevation of nearly 5000 feet. In the summer, the climate here ranges from comfortable daytime highs that average in the upper 70's (~25 degrees Celsius), to cool evenings with average lows in the low 50's (~10 degrees Celsius). At this elevation the sun is intense all year round. There is nearly always a gentle breeze blowing during the day. There is very little or no rain during the summer months so humidity levels are very low and swimsuits air-dry quickly. Spring and early fall are the seasons of dynamic color and wetter weather. Late fall, winter and early spring are quiet seasons of incredible beauty. Along with this beauty comes the possibility of ice and snow on mountain roads and on our steep driveway.

Privacy and Convenience: Our prime location puts you away from the crowds, yet close to everything Yosemite has to offer. The southern entrance to Yosemite is less than four miles up the road. If you love the outdoors, this is the place to call home. There is so much do to here that you could easily fill your day with excitement without ever entering the park itself!
