Casa Parota - Private Pool: It is the largest house and among the best-furnished in the neighborhood. Casa Parota has full stereo surround-sound with CD, US & Canadian TV, four TVs, two VCRs, one DVD. 150+ movies. It offers a complete kitchen with a dishwasher, disposal, microwave, gas stove/oven, and refrigerator. There is a full laundry room with a large washer and dryer; an iron and ironing board are provided. Special features include Oriental rugs, numerous oil paintings, Italian dishware, and gourmet cookware. The dining room table seats eight, with room for three at the bar. A 2006 Ford Explorer XLT (7 seat belts) with leather, third seat, and CD/MP3 is available as an option at a cost of $85/day. We can arrange for the car to be at the airport upon your arrival, and you can leave the car at the airport upon departure. Maid, swimming pool, and yard service are included. An American property manager is at your service to show you around the house and be there when needed.

4 Bedrooms- 3 Bathrooms & Amenities: There are four bedrooms; one bedroom has been turned into an office with sleeping accommodations. Three bedrooms have private bathrooms, satellite TV (US and Canadian stations from Seattle, Detroit, LA, NYC, Toronto), a clock/radio and a phone. The master bedroom also has a VCR. The large master suite upstairs has a California king-size bed and a private bathroom/shower/soaking tub and patio. There is separate air-conditioning/heating in the master suite. The second bedroom upstairs comes with a full bathroom/shower and a California king-size bed or two extra-long twin beds; your choice. There is a separate air-conditioner, so you can regulate how cold you want your room for sleeping. The third bedroom upstairs has been made into an office, and has a deck overlooking the swimming pool and bay. It offers a PC computer, fax, e-mail, phone, answering machine, and a futon couch for extra sleeping. New-Highspeed Internet!

One bedroom downstairs comes with a private bathroom/shower and a California king-size bed, or two extra-long twin beds; your choice. There is an extra-large deck upstairs off the Master Suite and office, which overlooks the Bay of Banderas and the lights of Puerto Vallarta. There is patio furniture downstairs and on the deck upstairs, which includes a table, chairs, and lounge chaises. There is also a hammock downstairs for the truly lazy who want to wile away the afternoon sleeping in the sun. The new Punta Mita Four Seasons Hotel with a Jack Nicklaus-designed Golf Course (includes a floating green!) is 20 minutes north of Casa Parota. Costa Banderas and Los Veneros Beach Club are five minutes north; they offer three swimming pools and two restaurants.

Guest Book: Date: 01/01/06 Ed Berkowitz, Portola Valley, CA Amy, your rental was outstanding. We traveled with four adults and two 2.5 yr-olds and everyone was very comfortable. Specific items we appreciated were: - house location that was close to everything (we were able to get gringo food and local food at the WalMart in PV) but still very private and quiet (we were not looking to share our vacation with 1000 strangers); - a really good bed in the master suite (others may also have been good but I only slept on one bed); - a complete kitchen with small touches like an ice shaver (good for snow cones for the kids and maragaritas for the adults); - a car in great condition that held us all (including child car seats), including clothes for 8 days; - a BBQ that made eating in a breeze; - a complete book of things to do, places to eat/shop, contact numbers just in case of emergency, ... - resource down there (property manager) to help with the little things.
