Battle State Park, many lakes with fishing, boating, and swimming, art museums, a premier transportation museum, lighthouses, dozens of galleries and antique shops, private nature sanctuaries and parks, playgrounds. There is an economical function hall and large parking area next door that is available by reservation for special occasions like reunions, weddings, receptions, anniversary and birthday parties, etc.. Rose Cottage is a convenient place for preparations and/or overnight accommodations for VIP's attending an event there. In addition, the large lawn & garden area at the cottage is available for events by special arrangement. There is also an party rentals store nearby if tents, tables, chairs, tuxedos, etc. are needed. We would be glad to help facilitate arrangements by special arrangement.
