Molokai is a very different place...: Molokai is a very different Hawaiian Island from what you may be used to. It is nothing like Oahu or Maui as far as convenience and development go. Molokai is very rural and laid back. There are no shopping malls or fast food which makes it a great place to change the view from all of the things you see everyday. You will really will be 'getting away from it all'... If you are a person that needs all of the conveniences of the modern world, you may want to test the waters before committing to a long stay. If you are the type that loves quiet, uncrowded, laid back, beautiful places, you will love it here.
