But hiking is not the only reason for visiting the Smokies. Car camping, fishing, picnicking, wildlife viewing and auto touring are popular activities.

Convenient to Historic Arts and Crafts Community: The Historic Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, founded in 1937 is the nation's largest organization of independent artisans.
