Full kitchen facilities allow you to eat in, and then eat out and splurge! This can be a romantic vacation, and/or one with lots of kid-friendly activities. You can follow the lead of the resort's social director, or go it by yourselves. A gourmet restaurant is on-site, as well as the East End, the North side, in town, and on Seven Mile Beach. And now there is Mimi's bar on the dock. Boat dive, shore dive, or windsurf. Explore 'unofficial beaches' along the East End, get to Sting Ray City, and Rum Point. Wander Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach as well. The dock has its resident parrot fish, and the turquoise beach is right there. The dive boats come to the dock, so no need to haul gear, and there are now lockers for your personal dive/snorkel stuff. The resort has listed activities for children and adults each day and night, so you can take advantage - or do 'none of the above'.
This is a one-week timeshare rental, although it is possible to add a second week - Ask! If you enjoy the more quiet side of things, with access to the bustle if you want it, the Morritts on the East End is the spot on Grand Cayman. The Morritts has organized things to do....or you can do it all on your own....including doing nothing but relaxing on the white sandy beach.
