Activities & Attractions: Our Gearhart Home is located 3 miles north of Seaside. We built this house for our personal use and our intention was not to make it into a rental. After some long conversations between my wife and I, we decided to share our home so other families can enjoy our vacation home. The house is centered among several tourist towns with something for everyone. A few miles to the south is Seaside with shopping, children's activities, lovely beach, outlet mall, restaurants, movie theater, aquarium and more. To the north is Astoria, at the mouth of the Columbia River with it's Maritime Museum, Astor Column and Fort Clatsop, the official end of the Lewis & Clark Trail. Great fishing and water activities available in Astoria. To the south is the beautiful Cannon Beach with a more rugged beach and lovely Ecola Park.
