Ingonish Beach - Swimming/Hiking: Swim at Ingonish Beach, located in Cape Breton Highlands National Park (5 minute drive) your choice of two sandy beaches, the Fresh Water Lake and the Atlantic ocean. Canteen services available and Life guard on duty during July & August. Hike the Fresh Water Lake Trail at the beach or the Middlehead Trail located just past the Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa
Kayak Adventure: Cape Breton Sea Coast Adventures (5 minutes) and North River Kayak Tours (40 minutes) both offer lessons and a great Kayak adventure.
