This rental is furnished with dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, coffee maker & toaster. This is a housekeeping unit. Please clean and leave it as you found it, or an additional fee will be charged. Linens are not provided; bring all your own bedding to include towels, washcloths & kitchen linens. (Linens can be provided for a $150.00 fee.) 3:00 check-in and 11:00 check-out.
Full refund honored, minus a $50 cancellation fee, if reservation is canceled a minimum of 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 1-59 days prior to arrival are non-refundable unless we can schedule new tenants to take over reservation. No refunds for early departures. - A hot tub is available only with an additional $200 cleaning fee.

This is a very special place that demands your respect and kindness.
Eagle Lake is truly a wonder of nature, inspiring artists, sportsmen and positive human spiritual growth through our interaction with nature and the natural beauty of our scenic vistas. Screen plays and books have been pened here. Fly-in to the Spaulding air strip four miles from us (5116 ft.MSL Ident:1q2). We will shuttle you to and from the Retreat with car rentals available.
Ski: During the winter the bay freezes over and is an exceptional place to cross-country ski or snow mobile. Watch out for the mountain lions! We have seen as many as 12 bald eagles in one setting. Birds of all kinds habitat here in peace. Cotton Tail rabbits dart around as the quail peck about all day long. More birds than you can identify! Great Brook trout fishing nearby in the Caribou Wilderness.
Golf: 4 Courses within a one hour drive.
Guest Book: Fly Fish America Magazine writer/editor John Shewey featured our resort; we will be happy to send you a copy online. He wrote 'First Class, Super-Comfortable Accommodations, a Luxurious Adventure that is sure to cast a spell on you'. As a Scot living in London, used to fast paced, city life, my first visit to the lake house took my breath away. The beauty and peace of the lake needs to be seen to be believed. I personally needed a rest from city living. A place to recharge my batteries and just chill. And that is exactly what I got. The lake house is not typically American. I would describe it as more upmarket European with a definite Scandinavian slant. Lovely, light wood features in all the rooms. The south facing views from the living room are spectacular and breakfast on the terrace is splendid. The lake house is quite magical. I return year after year.
