It is 10 minute drive to downtown San Lucas and 20 minutes to San Jose del Cabo (airport SJD is a 35 minute drive). Punta Ballena means 'Point of Whales', so during whale season, whales are easily spotted from here. It is 10 minute drive to Santa Maria and Chileno Beach where snorkeling is best.
