This house is a perfect vacation spot located on Dead Brook Pond and 200 yds from the boat launch from Highland Lake. The home boasts 3 bdrms, 2 bath, loft with futon, full finished basement with pool table, darts and indoor sandbox. The kitchen has alll utensils, pots/pans, coffee maker, microwave, gas grill on the deck. Washer and dryer on the main level. Sleeps 9 people with extra 2 twin cots to sleep a total of 11. There is no TV or internet, but a large screen TV with a DVD player and a phone ine available for use. Stoddard is home to Highland Lake Marina (http://www.highlandlakemarina.com), Pitcher Mtn (http://hikenh.netfirms.com/TDPitche.htm). Keene is 20 mins. Skiing is a 30 min drive to Mt. Sunapee or 8 mile drive to Granite Gorge. The General Store is walking distance. It's the perfect place to reconnect without the interference of the high tech world. The Davis Public Library and the Marina both have wireless internet. Hope this is what you are looking for!

Located on Deadbrook Pond which is attached to Highland lake across rt 123. Stoddard is 20 minutes to either Keene or Hillsborough where there are many festivals and events throughout the year. Stoddard is home to Pitcher Mountain, which is famous for its breath taking views and blueberry picking. Stoddard is a mountain retreat only 2 hours from Boston and Hartford.

- The master bedroom is attached to the master full bath. The second bedroom is across the hall from the main full bath. The loft has a double futon with a GREAT view of the pond and birch trees The downstairs bedroom has a twin upper bunk with a pullout double futon below it as well as a twin loft bed. All bedrooms have closets, outlets, and switched lights. The loft does not have a dedicated light and is open to the cathedral ceiling so if there is a lot of noise in the main floor a light sleeper is not recommended to stay there.
