The cottage is located on a small dead-end street in a nice family area. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pier is a 20 minute walk and has shopping, an arcade, rides, and the train depot. Tennis, shuffle board and mini golf are only a mile away. Portland Sea Dogs- AA Baseball Team plays in Portland at Hadlock Field. Freeport has great shopping, including LL Bean (open 24/7) and is a short 40 minute drive. Kittery, to the South, has many outlet malls. Saco sports a drive-in theater!
