Fall Rates start 15 Sept. Fall is the best time at the beach. Indian summer and no crowds. The Surf House is a charming 800 sq ft, single story, California beach bungalow. Built in the late 30's as part of the Rio Del Mar Country Club in Aptos Ca, the house retains many of the original features. Expansive view of Rio Del Mar State Beach from the living room and deck and just steps to the sand. Watch the surf and beach activities from the comfort of your lazy boy recliner or deck chair or go over to the beach. Master Bedroom has a queen size bed, 2nd bedroom has 2 twins, twin trundle bed in living room make sleeping for 6. Deck has barbecue & redwood picnic table. Lovely hillside view from the master bedroom balcony and kitchen.
Pets welcome. Fully furnished. TV, DVD, phone, and Internet connection provided. The Surf House is located 10 min south of Capitola & Santa Cruz, on the sunny side of the Monterrey Bay.

Read a good book, walk on the Esplande to the USS Palo Alto, fish from the pier or the in surf. Collect shells, watch the birds and dolfins, or just snooze.
Go Antiquing in Aptos and Soquel or shopping in Capitola. The SantaCruz Boardwalk is 20 min north. Monterey Bay Aquarium is 1 hour south. 15 minutes and you are in the Redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains. San Francisco Airport is 90 minutes away. San Jose airport is 45 minutes away.
