Further details about this house rental
Samara's reef-protected bay provides safe swimming and snorkeling. Learn to surf from one of 4 surf schools right in the bay and world-class waves nearby. There is abundant wildlife in the trees around the house. Wake up to the roar of the Howler monkeys or the call of the green parrots as they make their twice daily pass to nesting sites up the hill. There is a zipline canopy tour nearby. Best birding in the area is from the terrace. Samara has shops, post office, police station, groceries, internet cafes, doctor, pharmacy, many good restaurants, and 'sodas' (Tico for cafe). The beach is quiet and gorgeous. It is nearly empty most of the week, except in the mornings when the children walk to school. Casa El Mango shares a 'get cool' pool and a spacious covered rancho with Casa la Papaya, also available for vacation rental. Up the hill is Casa el Gecko, also occasionally for rent. Reserve one, two, or all three houses for an unforgettable tropical gathering.
Samara, and all of Costa Rica, is booming. Casa el Mango is well located away from the downtown noise in a mixed international/tico neighborhood along a paved road. The evenings are quiet and serene, with amazing star shows and the sounds of night animals. Dawn approaches with visits from monkeys, parrots, other wildlife and maybe a neighborhood rooster.
