Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- Affordable Rates for a large home. Spring and Fall Discounts.
- A Rental Deposit equal to 25% of the rental rate is required at time of reservation to hold the Rental Period. The reservation will not be considered final until the Rental Deposit has cleared the bank (in the case of a personal check). Owners will continue to offer the Rental Period for rent until the reservation is considered final. The Rental Deposit will be applied toward the Rental Fee. The Rental Deposit is not a security deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT, along with the Security Deposit and Housekeeping Fee is due thirty (30) days before your check-in date.
We strongly recommend use of PayPal to place rental deposits to insure immediate locking of a desired time period.
A $250 security deposit is required in addition to the rental fee. This security deposit will be refunded within 30 days of check-out assuming all terms of the rental agreement are met. There is also a mandatory $75 housekeeping fee required with the final rental payment. - CANCELLATIONS: A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 10% Cancellation fee or $100 whichever is greater. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, or that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full Rental Deposit.

- The Primary Bathroom is located next two the Master Bedroom and is accessible form the hall. It is a very large bathroom with lots of closet space. The half bath is conveniently located in one of the Master bedrooms. Both bathrooms have been recently renovated. The primary bathroom has a large storage closet with a high chair, booster seat, baby monitor, ironing board, iron and step stool.

- The Kids Bunk room is on separate floor from Master Bedrooms providing privacy for adults. Kids room also has space for 4 plus a crib but Crib can be replaced with Fold out or Large Air Mattress to add 2 more. Crib can also be moved into either Master bedroom which has space to easily accommodate. Both Bedrooms have new floors, new paint and all of the beds have new pillows and blankets. Large den has a new pull-out queen sized sofa bed with its own door to close it off from the house if used as a bedroom. Separate living room available with Entertainment system in addition to TV/DVD setup in Den. Central Air conditioning and ceiling fans in most rooms. There is also a hugh chair, booster seat and baby monitor stored in the hallway bathroom closet.

Nature Lovers!: Location is perfect for nature lovers! The house sits between the Beach and one of America's largest wildlife refuges. The Prime Hook National Wildlife refuge is over 10,000 acres and is in a key position in the Atlantic flyway hosting hundreds of thousands of migratory birds each year including several rare species and endangered species. Common rare species that birdwatchers come to Slaughter Beach to see are the Red Knot, Ruddy Turnstone, Semipalmated Sandpiper, Sanderling and Dunlin. Slaughter Beach is also host to the largest Horseshoe migration in the U.S. hosting several hundred thousand of the ancient species for about one week each year in mid-May and is a designated Horseshoe crab conservation zone. In fact the horseshoe crab eggs are partially responsible for the mass bird migration as the birds come to feed on the Horseshoe crab eggs
Payment and Deposit: We currently accept payment via personal check and Paypal. 25% of the rental fee is required to hold a desired reservation timeframe. A $250 security deposit, a signed contract and the remainder of the rental fee is due 4 weeks prior to arriving *** or the deposit will be forfeited *** and the week offered for rent to other vacationers. The security deposit will be returned within 30 days of checkout after inspection and assuming no damage has been done to the house or property. There are NO REFUNDS within 60 days of the arrival date.
Pets and Smoking: We have recently renovated our home and taken many steps to reduce or eliminate allergens including removing carpets, cleaning the HVAC system and installing hepa-filtration filters. We have done this both to allow our enjoyment of this home and to allow others with moderate to severe allergies to do so. As a result, we can not allow any pets inside the home. We also can not allow smoking of any kind within our home. Any evidence of either will automatically result in forfeit of the entire deposit. The cost of eliminating the result of smoking or pets (i.e. HVAC cleaning, carpet removal, steam cleaning) will also be the responsibility of the renter.
