The room: We have a room on the top floor of the Holiday Inn at the Pavilion. This room offers the best view at the most affordable price anywhere in the immediate vicinity. This is an efficiency room with 2 queen beds and an unobstructed view of Pier 14 and the entire beach below. It really is amazing to wake up to the sun rising over the calm Atlantic Ocean. The unit has a flat screen televisions and a kitchen featuring a stove top, microwave, and full size refrigerator. It was renovated in early 2007. The new bathroom has a black marble counter tops and is very nice.

Location: The Holiday Inn at the Pavilion is located in the heart of downtown Myrtle Beach. The ocean-adjacent outdoor bar area is surrounded by tropical landscaping, and is the perfect spot to unwind with new friends. The warm summer night breeze and gentle ocean lapping will make you want to sleep with the balcony door wide open. There is often beach volleyball played next to the pier.

Attractions: Countless restaurants and other attractions within walking distance beckon you to mingle with the local nightlife. You can fish off of Pier 14, which is just outside your door. Broadway at The Beach, the largest outdoor shopping mall in all of South Carolina, is only 9 blocks away and offers more than 150 stores in addition to a huge movieplex. The brand new Hard Rock Theme Park, minutes away on Route 501 from the hotel, opens on June 3rd 2008 with a grand opening concert featuring The Eagles and The Moody Blues.
