Charming, romantic honeymoon cottage hideaway, surrounded by a rainbow of native flowering plants and trees and tucked away on a quiet hillside acre with unequaled ocean and sunset views. Watch the sunset each evening from your private and secluded lanai while the fish steaks are cooking on the gas BBQ. Spacious 'open air' (screens, no glass windows) cottage with an extra-large bedroom with bamboo king size bed, roomy bath with tub/shower, private washer/dryer with detergent and other supplies furnished at no extra charge.
Full kitchen comes equipped with all small appliances including coffee grinder and rice cooker. The cottage sleeps six in two beds and fold-out sofa. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, mango, papaya, banana, coffee and avocado trees, wild turkeys, pheasants and other island birds. Experience the 'true' Hawaii, away from the hustle and bustle of town but only ten minutes by car to Kona Town or popular snorkeling and boogie-boarding beaches.

Our charming Honeymoon Cottage is located 3 miles south of the artist community of Holualoa on Hwy. 180, the Kona Heritage corridor, a 10 mile scenic drive along the historic Mamalahoa Highway. We overlook Keauhou Bay and Kailua-Kona town which are approximately 5 miles distant. Holualoa is a quaint little town with many art galleries, gift shops, espresso shops and restaurants. There are 2 coffee farms within 3 miles that allow tours and have retail shops. We are approximately 3 hours drive to the current active lava flow into the Pacific Ocean from Kilauea Volcano and an equal distance to the historic town of Hilo on the East side of the island. Kealakekua Bay, world renown for excellent kayaking, snorkeling and diving is just 20 minutes from our cottage.

Might not be suitable for young children as there is no outdoor play area and deck is 15-20 feet off the ground. Infants and older children OK. There are several steps and a foot path leading approximately 90 feet to the cottage so might not be suitable for elderly or infirm.
