Our charming summer home is located on 150 feet of private beach on Long Pond in East Harwich, considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches on the largest lake on the Cape. Long Pond is approximately 750 square acres and one of the most swimmable and scenic ponds on the Cape. Our clean and freshly decorated home is a must-rent. The interior of our home features water views from the spacious living room and quaint eat-in kitchen. The master bedroom has panoramic view of Long Pond. Step out onto patio, across lawn and down to your private beach. Enjoy outdoor dining on the patio or relaxing on the lawn in a standing hammock while experiencing the breezes that come down the lake. The sunsets from this eastern end of the lake are truly amazing. Close proximity to boat ramp allows opportunity for fishing, boating and water activity. Or, you can set sail from your own beach. Cinema complex and grocery store and shopping center approximately two miles from our remotely located home.

Harwich contains the largest lake on the Cape, called Long Pond, scenic cranberry bogs, beautiful historical Cape homes and extensive shoreline on Nantucket Sound. The surrounding Cape is known for its beautiful bay and ocean beaches, nature and bike trails, reputable local theater abounds and summer Cape Cod league baseball games known all over the US. Also, the National Seashore is known for many bodies of water special to kayakers, surf-casting, surfing and seal watches. Whale watching and deep sea fishing are very popular to the Cape. Also, just a short ferry ride away are Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, popular favorite destinations.
