Further details about this house rental
As you walk towards the house, across the entrance stairways you’re surrounded by tropical plants that are lit up at night time to guide your way and illuminate the green colors of the entrance. From the stair ways you’re led to the main outdoor porch, a perfect place for relaxing, reading, enjoying the fresh air of the mountain or simply contemplating the views. The porch is integrated with the living room and the kitchen / dining area as one open space which creates a great feeling of expansiveness. This fully furnished house is ideal for a couple or a single person. The first floor has dimmer lighting, comfortable seating, a nice fire place within the living room to keep you warm at nights and a fully equipped kitchen / dining area that is ideal for home made dinners as well. There is also a half bathroom, storage area and washing facilities.
The second floor of the house is the master bedroom suite. It is a spacious, wooden floor bedroom with dimmer lighting and a center piece king size bed from which you can also enjoy view, rest, watch television or listen to music. Lastly, there is a comfortable hammock to lie on, a contemporary full bathroom and a walk -in closet. A computer is available for you to check your emails and stay in touch with your friends and family as well. You can also connect to the Internet wireless in case you prefer to work with your laptop from any part of the house (enjoying breakfast from the terrace, lying on the hammock, next to the fireplace, etc.) Above the second floor, there is a small open loft with a full size bed as a secondary sleeping area. The stairs accessing this floor are somewhat steep; and we recommend that these sleeping quarters not be reserved for the elderly or small children.
As the owner and host of the Mountain Chalet, I have a small studio next to the chalet where I live. It is completely separate from the house but they share the same exterior walkway. Separate from the house there is a live-in guard and gardener.
