Beautiful, private, 4 acre, oceanfront property overlooking Northumberland Strait with a view of Pictou Island & Nova Scotia. 400 feet of frontage with a panoramic view. Direct ocean access via property. Sand beaches are 3 - 5 minutes away (within view while standing on the deck of your cottage) offering swimming, beach combing and lots of walking. Your home away from home is located in the community of Guernsey Cove, a small community of about 1000 people, in the SE area of the Island. You are 5 - 7 minutes drive from Murray Harbour, your nearest town, with gas station, convenience/mini-grocery store and restaurant. Fishing, Boating, Beaches, Snorkeling and Golf are all within easy access of your home. At the Cove, you are able to get away from it all. Only 35 minutes away, in Montague, the nearest large community offers grocery & department stores, restaurants, food chains, banking and a hospital). Charlottetown, the provincial capital (with airport) only 45 minutes.

A Word About The Cliff...: Our oceanfront property has approximately 400 feet of frontage. Most of this frontage has a cliff, which averages about 40 feet in height. Our parents raised three children and all of us played on the property during vacations without incident. However, everyone should exercise caution near the edge of the cliff. Provided guests remain at least 3 feet from the cliff, especially young children, you should enjoy the beautiful scenery our property affords visitors in a safe manner. Our cottage is approximately 100 feet back from the cliff, so unless you want to walk along the edge, this should not be a concern for most folks. With respect to pets, we have had many dogs explore the property off-leash without incident.
