- Bedroom 1, the master bedroom, is tucked away, but open onto the veranda. Windows can be fully opened for a 'fresh air' experience, almost like camping, with a luxurious bed and roof over your head. Bedroom 2 is in its own, separate 'casita' (little house), with bathroom, about 75 feet from the main house. There is a futon sofa in the main house that folds out to make a double bed, suitable for 2 children or small adults.

Home and Garden : Jewel of Cabo Pulmo is an oasis within an oasis. Enjoy this custom-built and decorated home that is surrounded by trees, native gardens, fountains, and pathways. Hand-painted borders decorate the windows and doors. The main house is an open floor plan surrounded on three sides by a veranda that flows onto the garden. It has a small but well-appointed kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a full bathroom, an open-air bedroom, a roof-top patio with mountain and ocean views, and an outdoor shower. The separate casita is tucked away in a corner of the garden. It is a large bedroom and bath, with a patio that opens onto the garden. This home was designed to flow into the outdoor natural garden with the doors and windows wide open. The garden is a walled-in half-acre that showcases native plants, succulents, and aloes that attracts many birds. Our house, like the surrounding community, is off-the-grid and runs entirely on solar power.
Relaxing in Cabo Pulmo: The Jewel of Cabo Pulmo is the perfect place for 'getting away'. Imagine sitting on the veranda in the early morning, sipping your coffee in the 'sky chair' and watching birds flock to the feeders and fountain. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, either home-made, or visit one of the nearby restaurants, then head off for a walk on the beach, or hike the surrounding hills. Prepare a wonderful meal, served directly from the kitchen to the veranda dining area. And finally snuggle into the mosquito-net enclosed four-poster queen sized bed while the waves of the Sea of Cortez lull you to sleep.
