Wishing you a wonderful Plum Island vacation!: Thank you for taking an interest in my home on Plum Island. I hope the photos and descriptions here give you a good feel for the beauty of this location, the amenities available and the special vacation you could have here, but please call or email with any questions. This is a large contemporary home; light, clean and comfortable beach side atmosphere so you can unwind and get away from it all. Waterfront location affords breathtaking views throughout the day. Ocean breezes as you sleep. You won't want to leave.
Fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with cable TV, wireless Internet, bath/shower, three bedrooms (one queen, two full) plus queen sleep sofa in living room. The owner lives here most of the year; you will notice this in the attention to details and convenience. I am confident you will have a very special vacation here. Huge deck with dining table and gas grill. Hammock perfectly positioned to catch the breeze and watch those great Plum Island sunsets in the backyard. A smaller balcony off the 2nd floor is perfect for morning coffee or sunset margarita... The large back yard that fronts the water is divided in two parts: a flat grassy fenced in area and a natural beach grass-and-sandy area gently sloping to the tidal basin. The wooden path ends at the water. You can set up your beach chair or keep your kayak or canoe here in the backyard to pull in at your whim. Bring your fishing gear, Plum Island is famous for striper fishing.
The rental comes with an access pass to the Parker River Nature Refuge. Easy access to Newburyport shops and summer fairs, less than an hour from Boston. This is a non-smoking home.
