Directions: Take I-91north to Barton exit 25. Turn left onto Route 16 south. Turn R onto Shadow Lake Road (blue house on the right side of the road), Follow road for 5 miles. After Shadow Lake road will turn to gravel road follow another 1/2 mile then take left at 'Y' onto Mud Island Road. Follow about 3 miles. White Owl Guest Cottage white house on right hand side of road. Welcome! 5 miles from I-91 to Shadow Lake Road, 5 miles from Route 16 to White Owl Guest Cottage.
