Bahia del Sol Ocean Resort is located on the north side of the bay in San Juan del Sur. San Juan del Sur is a leading destination for tourists visiting Nicaragua and for affluent people in Managua and Central America. It is less than 2 hours drive from Managua or under an hour from Liberia, Costa Rica. It is the only bay on Nicaragua's Pacific where luxurious cruise ships dock en-route to Panama or South America. The resort is located on Nicaragua’s version of Malibu Beach exclusively among residential of Nicaraguan millionaires. A gated entrance with 24-hour security leads into the Villa section, which is on the lower part of the site. The condos are on the upper section. The hillside setting and site layout ensure that every villa and every condo has an outstanding ocean view. The beach is less than 300 meters from the property and you can walk to town along it.

San Juan del Sur, a beach town is within walking distance of the Villa. The beach and water here is calmer and suitable for ocean swimming. Further out around the Bay's mouth you can surf with the best breaks in Nicaragua. If you enjoy sailing and fishing, why not take a trip out and make it an all-day affair fishing for Big game fish like marlin, sailfish, dorado, wahoo and yellowfin tuna. Kids can also enjoy swimming and snorkeling in nearby isolated beaches. 'Next door' your family can visit La Flor to watch Olive Ridely turtles lay eggs especially between July and January. Want more adventure; try out ATV expeditions, kayaking, horseback riding on the beach, guided hiking tour and the popular canopy tour. Da Flying Frog, the longest canopy tour in Nicaragua, is located only five minutes from the town. The tour starts at the top of the hill, which has a superb view of the Bay and its surroundings. Watch out for howler monkeys! Seafood is fresh and cheap in town.

When your cancellation is approved, you will get a full refund minus 10% penalty of the entire cost of the reservation or you can opt to receive full credit to be used on your next reservation.

Guest Book: Miguel, the general manager was there to greet us personally. It was our first trip there for our honeymoon stopover. Everything was setup just like the website said.
