Close to it all!: The house is located in a quiet, upscale neighborhood along the central corridor of the city (between Alameda/Ocean Drive--zip 78411). It is very close, less than a mile, to shopping centers, malls and restaurants, the Local Children's Hospital as well as one of three regional hospitals. You are only three (3) blocks from bayfront where you will find parks, and walking & biking routes, only 15 minutes drive to Gulf Beaches on North Padre Island and 10 minutes drive from Corpus Christi Downtown and Marina districts. The house is ideal for the corporate executive as well! Inquire about extended stays to up to 28 nights for professionals who need a quiet place to stay and work while away from home and office.
Using the house as your home base, you can visit many other parts of South and Central Texas on day trips; San Antonio, Brownsville, even a trip into Mexico at Matamoros or Progreso! And with very few exceptions, the typical weather along the Texas Gulf Coast is mild. The winter is short, usually the coldest weather is in January. Summers can be hot and humid especially from August through September.
