The Home: This beach view vacation rental, in AuGres - a serene resort style community 15 miles south of Tawas and East Tawas, has been beautifully furnished to provide you with all the \comforts of your home. Located in the third row from the beach, this two bedroom private home on 3/4 acre can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people at a time. We have 2 queen beds in the master bedroom , a queen bed and 3 twin beds in the other. There is also 2 futons in the living room. As a home away from home, we provide you with plenty of linens and towels, even beach towels, so you can pack light for your travel. You will enjoy cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen and offers a great view of the tranquil neighborhood through large glass windows. You can curl up with a book, relax in the cozy living room and let the time fly by as you look up from the book only to gaze at the glorious sunshine of a beachfront community. Enjoy walking or biking down to the beach, only steps away.

The Town: AuGres is a town with a yesteryear atmosphere has a Golf courses, state parks nearby allow hunting, fishing/ice fishing and snowmobiling in winter and 'the best Ice cream parlor' in the whole Mid Michigan. Au Gres is also the country for cross country. There are several boat access sites to go boating or fishing on the pier. Here, you live close to the nature. Deer, wild turkey, hawks and eagles etc... On occasion come to the porch. Take long walk on the promenade beach, watch the sunrise/moonrise and feel yourself immersed in the greatness of the Great Lake. Take a swim in the clear water of Lake Huron or simply sunbathe on its sandy shore. Right behind the property, a small wood with many native fauna and flora, such as the protected 'lady slippers' which flower around the summer solstice, invite you to the nature discovery.
