Further details about this cottage rental

Exploring the Lower Cape: Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, Eastham and Orleans comprise the Lower Cape. Among these 5 towns exists a wealth of art, music, theater, fine dining, lobster shacks, and quintessential old Cape Cod scenery. Explore the National Seashore on Art's Dune Tours, leaving out of Provincetown town center hourly. Take a bottle of wine, some cheese, and some crispy crackers and mosey out to Herring Cove to see the sunset...or, just watch it from your own beachfront cottage. Enjoy some theater in either Provincetown or Wellfleet. Eat the freshest of seafood at the Lobster Pot in P'town or at any number of other fine eateries in the area. Clem and Ursies offers oysters and clams on the half shell and jumbo shrimp for around $1 each during their daily happy hour from 3 to 5 pm. Walk the streets of Provincetown, Orleans, or Wellfleet and explore the quaint shops and alluring art galleries featuring local artists. It's a wonderful life on the tip of the Cape...it deserves exploration.

Art Galleries: Friday nights in Provincetown are 'gallery nights' where every gallery is open, some featuring new artists, some featuring renowned artists, but all welcoming you to enjoy a gallery stroll. It is a lovely way to spend a Friday evening. After the stroll, enjoy a fabulous martini at The Mews...they have more brands of vodka than should be legally allowed, and the ambiance is embracing. Or, the Commons, just a little closer to town center right on Commercial Street, offers alfresco dining right on the street. Great for people watching. The number of outstanding restaurants in the Lower Cape makes a vacation in this area a gastronomic delight. The weather is cool in the evening and warm during the sunny days. Is every day perfect??? Pretty much.

Golf and Tennis: You have had a yen to play one of Scotland's links courses, but have just not quite gotten around to it. Rest assured that the Highland Links course, surrounding the Cape Cod Lighthouse and situated on the bluffs overlooking the dark blue Atlantic, will transport you to a course as close to St. Andrews as you can get on the East Coast. It is a challenging and scenic course that you are sure to enjoy. In fact, you probably won't be able to play only one round. It is fun. Just call the pro shop in North Truro and set up a tee time. The Provincetown Tennis Club welcomes day or week memberships. They have everything you might need to practice your lobs or get in on a doubles game with some new friends.

Other Activities: Visiting the National Seashore & participating in their many programs
