Stretching for 26 miles off the coast of North Carolina, Topsail Island is a surprisingly well-kept secret with its stunning white sand beaches and relaxing atmosphere that simply cannot be beat.

North Topsail Beach, the northernmost of the three island towns, is certainly one of the best places to kick back and enjoy the slow pace of the island. You won’t find a large outgrowth of tourist attractions here – just a beautiful maritime environment, delicious Stump Sound oysters, and plenty of North Topsail Beach rentals that offer breathtaking views out over the ocean.

Moving south down the island you will come across Surf City, home of numerous retail and dining establishments in addition to plenty of waterfront excitement. The Surf City Ocean Pier is a great place for anglers to begin their adventures, while the soft sandy beaches are teeming with sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling opportunities.

Heading onto the mainland, Holly Ridge is convenient to the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, while Sneads Ferry offers easy access to superior Atlantic Ocean fishing via the New River and Intracoastal Waterway. In addition, both of these communities are ideally located near the 6 golf courses of the Topsail Island Area.
