This home is beautifully remodeled and is set in a private setting in a great Hawaiian neighborhood that looks and feels like Old Hawaii. It is located just outside of Pahoa (a funky town that time forgot) which is about 15 miles south of Hilo so it is centrally located to many of the attractions located in east Hawaii. Just down the main road of the neighborhood leads to a beautiful ocean side park where you can watch sea turtles all year round and whales in season. It is also a short trip to Kapoho for outstanding snorkeling with more sea turtles. The famous 'Hot Pond' is located just a couple of miles down the road from Kapoho on the Red Road which is one of the prettiest drives on this side of the island. You are also convenient to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Hilo with it's great shops and restaurants. From Hilo go north and see the incredible vistas of the Hamakua coast. This is a day trip not to be missed.

Located just outside the town of Pahoa in a beautiful Hawaiian neighborhood. While here be sure and take advantage of the Maku'u Farmer's Market that meets each Sunday. Here you will find fresh vegies, flowers, live music, uniques hawaiian crafts, good food and lots of local color. Also be sure and drive down to the ocean at the bottom of Kahakai Blvd, where you will find an incredible vista to watch the water and the whales. Drive into the colorful town of Pahoa for some good restaurants and fun shops. You are also close to the famous Kapoho Tide Pools and the incredible snorkeling opportunities.
