Steinway Grand Piano: Seascape Villa is a true rarity among luxury villas in the Caribbean as it is home to a Steinway & Sons grand piano. The 6 foot piano was built in 1904, has been acclimatised to Caribbean weather and fully restored. It has a beautiful rich sound and mahogany casing, and the keyboard comes with a view of the sea. Many of our guests are musical & choose Seascape specifically for the piano. Performing artists, music teachers, students, & musical families can go on vacation without leaving their music behind. The piano sits in the grand room with space for your audience, other instruments, backup singers, & dancing.
Ocean-Going Fun: Nobody does adventure better than Sea Wolf Diving School. The waters around Montserrat are clear, unpolluted, and her reefs are intact - a combination that breeds remarkable under-water fauna. Sea Wolf offers snorkeling, kayaking, day and night scuba-diving, dive-certification, boat trips, and a whole host of other activities. Danny, somewhat of a Montserrat legend, can take you fishing or provide gear for all kinds of ocean-going fun. Rumour has it that he taught Sting to windsurf. Danny and his wife Margaret also operate a wonderful ocean-front restaurant - perfect for cooking the day's catch.
Explore This Beautiful Island: Volcano tourism is a truly unique experience, and many of our guests take guided hiking tours. Families often take advantage of this unique educational opportunity with their children - it's not often that you can approach a volcano! Montserrat's unique geography makes it possible to appreciate how volcanoes work from a safe distance. The Montserrat Volcano Observatory (MVO) is a great place to visit. It has become so popular that they are in the process of building a new visitor centre complete with photography and insights into how this wonder of nature works. The MVO can also organize scientific tours for groups of geology-minded folk.
