FAQ's: Q. What is the difference between this rental and others of this type in the Malletts Bay area? A. This is a brand new, modern, year-round house located directly on the beach. We believe the location and beach quality are the best in this area and we strive to keep our premises clean for vacationers. Q. What do I need to bring for my stay? A. Unless your rate indicates otherwise, all you need to bring is pillow cases, sheets and towels. The house has full kitchen/dining facilities along with the following items we provide; Paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, beach chairs, coolers (small and large), gas grill, firewood for camp fires, washer and dryer-dish washer and detergent, cleaning sprays and vacuum. Q. What hidden charges are there for my stay? What about overnight guests? Parking? Canoe rental? Taxes? A. Everything is included in your rate. Large parties are extra, occasional guests are fine.
Pets : Service animals and family dogs only. If your neat, clean, non drooling, non barking dog is a member of your family and you trust him/her with your damage deposit then he/she is welcome. We must be notified in advance about any service animal or dog prior to check in. Absolutely no cats, birds or rodents.
A little about who we are: We have been renting houses and lake cottages in this area for over 15 years and have the experience to know just what vacationers expect, while knowing what to avoid. We recently demolished our 3 older seasonal rental cottages on this site and replaced them with 3 new year round homes, 2 of which we have sold. The Malletts Bay House is rented short term to vacationers throughout the year when our family is not using it. If you are coming in from out of town and need special arrangements for your stay, please do not hesitate to ask. Most reasonable requests can be met at little or no cost.
Ski: Stowe, Sugarbush and Smugglers Notch are about 45 minutes away while Jay Peak is about 90 minutes.
Golf: The Greater Burlington area has some of the best courses in the northeast, including Vermont National. Most courses are less than 30 minutes away.
Other Activities: Drive-in theater, bike path, campground, Ice cream stand
