Local attractions: The newly opened Sanibel Recreation Center has a gymnasium, where visitors can enjoy basketball, volleyball, a fitness center with a weight room, and a lap swimming pool . The state of the art center is located nearby at the Sanibel School on Sanibel-Captiva Road.
Golf: Beachview and Dunes country clubs are nearby on the island and open to the public, golf club rentals available. Thirty other public courses in the Ft. Myers-Sanibel area including miniature golf courses.
Other Activities: Tarpon Bay kayaking, shelling on our private beach, Ding Darling nature preserve hiking
