additional local information: The proximity - about 5-10 minutes drive away of the two Barnstable owned public 18 hole golf courses - charming Old Barnstable Fairground and the Hyannis golf course ,both open year round, makes this home a wonderful base from which family members of different ages and interests can have a great day. The public boat landing at Osterville is 2 minues drive away. The Hyannis transportation hub offers bus services to points on Cape Cod,Providence Rhode Island,Boston and New York City and a shuttle service to the docks for boats for whale watching, ocean fishing and for ferries to the islands of Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket as well as to the Barnstable County Airport.
