This comfortable vacation home is one of three rentals on the property. It's a walk to Schroon Lake Village and public beach. It's roomy interior allows for a place to share with family and friends. A full screened front porch adds living space and the 50' dock allows for access to your boat or a private swimming area. This tranquil property is in the heart of the Adirondacks, 30 minutes from Lake George and just 60 minutes from Saratoga Race Track. Plenty of biking, hiking and nature trails throughout the area. Just 20 minutes from Gore Mountain, it's a great vantage point to explore the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Schroon Lake Golf Course is just around the corner. There is live entertainment just a walk away in Schroon Lake Village. Close to churches and the Word of Life Center.

The Schroon Lake area is an easy drive from Saratoga Springs, Lake George, Fort Ticonderoga and many other Adirondack attractions. If coming to Saratoga for the thoroughbred racing season, this would be an ideal place to stay. Enjoy the track, then come back for a quiet evening by the lake. The commute from Saratoga to Schroon is an easy ride from Exit 14 to Exit 27 on the Northway. Avoid all the racetrack traffic going toward Albany. There are some excellent restaurants in the Schroon area. Just make your reservations before you leave the house in the morning and by the time you get back to the lake, you will have a seat--miss the track crowd and those long waits.

Ski Season: Sit in the house after a long day at the slopes and enjoy watching the ice fishermen. Better yet, join them. By the way, some of the best snowmobile trails are just a short way from the house. Restaurants and grocery store are just a few minutes away.

Fall Season : Fall - Come enjoy the best season of all! The water In September is still warm enough to swim, but the crowds are gone. The fall colors are brilliant and the air is crisp and clear. Sit on the front porch and watch the loons swim by.
