Fall Leaf Season: Second to none, this place is spectacular in the fall. Drive the Blue Ridge parkway and soak up the views of the sunny country side, the vast array of fall foliage colors and magnificent rolling mountains.
Summer: Escape the heat and head for the hills. Enjoy the cool nights and comfortable days in the mountains. Take a canoe trip down the New River, fish in the trout stream, or take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway to enjoy the lush green country side.
Winter Wonderland 2008/ 9 off to great ski season: Take a quick drive to Boone, North Carolina to enjoy one of the many ski resorts for the day. Return to the cabin on the mountain and cozy up to the fireplace, enjoy a warm beverage or start a fire in the fire pit for brisk outdoor experince.
