Easy trip to Bromley Mountain slide and Manchester outlet shopping. Townsend Dam and Jamaica State Park for swimming are nearby. Quick trip to Mountain View Cinemas in Dover, VT. and excellent restaurants (family to fine dining with recommendations available). Antiquing, art galleries, maple sugaring and delicious homemade pies are all nearby.
