Island community: Our cottage is located in the island community of Lockeport which is joined to the mainland by Crescent Beach and its causeway. The town has a population of approximately 700 residents and is very quiet. All amenities and necessities are within a five minute walk of the property. If you're looking for a quiet location to rejuvenate, this is the ideal spot during any season. Crescent Beach is never crowded but can provide hours of enjoyment for the whole family.
Recreation: Visitors can access tennis courts, parks and a wonderful children's playground during their stay at Ocean Mist. Two golf courses are within a forty minute drive including the challenging 18 hole River Hills course in Clyde River.
Winterized for year round use.: The cottages are open all year and are equipped with electric heat in each room as well as a Vermont Casting style propane fireplace/stove for those cool Atlantic evenings. Walk picturesque Crescent Beach in any season and then curl up in your beachfront cottage with a good book or movie.
Guest Book: Back again from Pte. Claire Quebec. Ocean Mist Cottages continues to be our favorite vacation spot. Very comfortable, panoramic views of the ocean which is right at your doorstep and sparkling clean accommodations. bf.gd@sympatico.ca We had two criteria for our trip to the south coast of NS - a sandy beach worthy of long walks and an amazing ocean view. Ocean Mist fulfilled these and so much more. Sand dollars, wild flowers, cozy cabins and rhythmic waves that will lull you to sleep.
