Further details about this cottage rental
Beaches: Cape Cod beaches are absolutely beautiful. The National Seashore (ocean side) has miles of clean sand and varied surf for beachcombing, fishing, swimming, etc. The many Bay beaches in Eastham offer beachcombing with gentler waves, warmer water and spectacular sunsets. Each one is a little different (First Encounter, Rock Harbor, to name a few). Wylie Park in Eastham has a wonderful large fresh-water pond - Great Pond, with a lifeguard, and sandy beach.
Eastham Area: Eastham is an old Cape Cod town, with maritime history (historic houses and little museums), windmills, excellent little restaurants, special events (art fairs, concerts, etc.) and shops. Nearby Orleans is a little bigger - a quick trip to stock up on groceries, do the laundry, more shops and restaurants - and Cape Cod baseball in the summer.
