You will come to love this beach area cottage with its delightful blend of knotty pine and seashore art, its porthole window and rowing oar railing as we do. Comfortable & cozy, the cottage is located on a quiet street. It has a woodburning stove, a new hot tub, gas BBQ, deck with padded patio furniture, a 9-ft umbrella & lots of pots of colorful flowers. It sleeps 6 with 2 more in the kid (under 5'2') bunks. There's a carport off the back lane and on-street parking with no permits required. It's a level 3-min walk to Rio Del Mar Beach, restaurants, delis and a grocery store. It's also close to a shopping center and movie theater. Nearby is theSeacliff State Beach Park where visitors marvel at million year old fossils in the rocks & enjoy the walk on the Wharf to the Cement Ship. The famous Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk is a 15 minute drive north. The lovely Monterey Peninsula is only 30 minutes south. Visit all the sights or just enjoy the beach by staying at the Sandpiper Cottage.

Our area has a wonderfully moderate climate, beaches are clean and uncrowded. There are several interesting state parks nearby for hiking, biking and enjoying nature. The biggest attraction only 15 minutes north is the Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk amusement park that hosts, among other things, free Friday and Saturday night concerts and fun for the whole family. 30 miles to the south is the world famous Monterey Peninsula with its extraordinary beauty, aquarium and renowned golf courses. You'll love the California central coast!
