The really nice thing about Ka'a'awa : ... is the peacefulness, lack of crowds and natural beauty. You can enjoy our white sand beaches without fighting your way through crowds. The water is a gorgeous blue and there's a natural reef several hundred yards off the coast that keep the waves from being too big and dangerous near the shore. This is a great place for families or couples, not to mention that it is a great value! There are several other rental homes in Ka'a'awa which are right on or across from the beach. These properties are quite nice, but they also command much higher rental costs. When you stay at our place, you save quite a bit of money and you are also a block off the main highway, which means more peace and quiet.

Ka’a’awa Weather & Climate: The north shore of Oahu has a subtropical climate with prevailing northeasterly trade winds, which are a dominant factor that governs Oahu's pleasant climate. The trade winds are consistent in summer months, and in combination with the warm temperatures gives Oahu and all of Hawaii great conditions for sailing, boating and other outdoor recreational activities. Oahu has two mountain ranges that separate the wet 'windward' side from the drier 'leeward' coast. The Ko’olau Mountains extend along the northeastern side and to the west lies the Waianae Mountains. Showers occur almost daily on the windward side, while on the leeward said, showers are light. Even on the moist windward side, showers occur most frequently during evening hours. Occasionally the trade winds shut down and it can become hot and humid. It is rare, however, for weather to become severe enough to interfere with outdoor plans
