What to Bring: Sheets, pillowcases, towels, soap, shampoo etc. DVD’s , CD’ s and VHS tapes……we have the players/equipment at the Cottage – The home should be clean when you arrive. Your cleaning deposit will be held, until our cleaning service approves its’ release. Please ensure the home is swept clean of sand, all appliances (TV, DVD/VCR, coffee maker, stove, toaster, microwave) etc. is off, and all windows are closed and locked when you leave the property, no later than 10am, the following Saturday. We have a very short window of opportunity to prepare the cottage for the next set of tenants, and would appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

Local Restaurants (Nice spots): For those who wish to go out Nice: Abbicci – (Rt 6A Yarmouth) – Great Italian Seafood, strong wine list The Ocean House (Old Wharf Road) – Dennisport – Can’t get closer to the water. Gina’s By the Sea (Taunton Ave, off Rt 6A, Dennis Village) – Go and experience the atmosphere, food, fun, and take a walk on the beach after you park the car and place your name on the list. We recommend you bring a bottle of wine and catch a sunset, then have dinner. Naked Oyster (Rt 132/Attucks Drive – Hyannis) – High end, NY style Bistro. Great wine list, Raw Bar, and intriguing menus, changing each season. Alberto’s – (Main St – Hyannis) – Italian Food. The service is outstanding. Then there is: Winery: The Cape Cod Winery is located North of Rt. 6 in Truro. You will have to call them for summer hours, tastings, tours, etc. This is not a bad place to go on the way to Provincetown or coming back……

Where to eat casual: When we come here, we go casual………………., and there are very fine establishments as well. Breakfast: The Breakfast Room (Rt 28, Dennis) – Great Pancakes Grumpy’s – (Rt 6A), East Dennis – Bring a big appetite Red Cottage – (Old Bass River Road) Worth the wait; the drive, and be sure to get the Cottage Fries. The Egg and I : (Rt 28 towards Harwich) – Good value for large families – buffet style Lunch: The Dog House (Lower County Road) – Great lemonade, good fun Georges Pizza (Rt 28 Harwich)….worth the drive, in business over 35 years. Clancy’s Beach Bar – (Lower County Road) – Excellent seafood Marathon Seafood (Rt 28 West Dennis)………Fried seafood. The Epitome Café (Rt 6A – Yarmouth) – Sandwiches and High Tea in a Gingerbread House Dinner: Captain Frosty’s (Rt 6A Dennis Village) – Stand on line, eat at picnic tables The Marshside – (Rt 6A/Rt 134 E. Dennis) – Great value, unusual specials Clancy’s – (Upper County Road) – Bring an appetite, get there early, be prepared to wait

Golf: Within 15 miles of our cottage you can play at over 20 public and semi-private courses. Pick up or view the Little Black Book of Golf on Cape Cod, in the basket of pamphlets on the coffee table. Please leave the book for those coming in behind you. Some of the most challenging and best designed courses are right here on the Cape…..and REASONABLE green fees. Guest Book: Wonderful Bike trails The Cape Cod Rail Trail spans the Cape eastward to Provincetown. You can begin the trail, through cranberry bogs, past ponds, and enjoy some pretty cool country stores along the way, right off RT 134 North, just past Upper County Road. You can rent bikes right there, pick up a guide book and go………………
